Moab Utah For Wedding, Honeymoon, Anniversary And Receptions

Moab has evolved services for couples exploring wedding locations beyond a hometown or have been googling destination weddings. The United States isn’t regularly on the lists for wedding destinations. According to the Travel Industry Dictionary (which is provided courtesy of www.HomeTravelAgency.com ) destination wedding means - a wedding that takes place in a location other than the bride and groom's home, typically a popular tourist destination. Moab, long known as a tourist destination, recently proposed Moab for Weddings, Honeymoon or Anniversary and further proclaimed this news at three Bridal/Wedding shows in the 2010 New Year.

What is in store for a bride and groom choosing Moab? The charm of a haven in the desert, a place your guests will unequivocally enjoy for the outlandish scenery and surprising functionality of bringing loved ones together with little to distract them, but largely excite them for the novelty you will establish in choosing Moab, Utah.

Fly to Moab to be met by the Moab Taxi, Black Dog, Roadrunner, or Coyote Shuttle to carry you and, deem ably, your guests to the selected lodging of Moab. For pampering, Moab Licensed Massage Therapists have table and do travel to set up a tandem massage in your suite, cabin, guest house or condominium. Hair and nail stylists are available; you could add a manicure or pedicure.

Wedding licenses Must Have both the bride and groom present to sign during the weekday during the hours of 8 AM – 4 PM. The wedding needs only occur within 30 days of this initial date and the license resubmitted to the Grand County Clerks office with the official signatures for authentication within this time-line too.

Local florists will provide a wedding bouquet and boutonniere or center pieces and arbor designs. Cake bakers decorate with monograms, sugar sculptures, fondant or tiers of cupcakes with considerable precision. Moab musicians range from solo guitar and jazz trumpet to duets and dance bands and DJ. The wedding photographers of Moab relish the outdoors, so whether you choose to be inside or outside, the photographers are able to hike, raft and drive to your wedding site as easily as shooting at a bed & breakfast, hotel lawn, restaurant patio, or unique Moab venue you’ve chosen. Moab is often described as a quirky place. Local folks are no less professional, simply more relaxed, communicative and, well, fun.

The accumulation of ideas for a Moab Wedding Package can be discussed with Moab’s Facility and Event Promoter. Here are some weddings that have occurred in Moab already:

The Groom’s party floated by boat down the Green River; the Bride’s party floated down the Colorado River to rendezvous at the Confluence of the two rivers. A jet boat transported a few additional guests for the ceremony and returned these guests back to Moab afterward. The Bride and Groom and their entourage continued rafting through Cataract Canyon to finish upon Lake Powell and fly back to Moab.

A boy and a girl met on the Slickrock Bike Trail and returned 5 years later to marry. Most friends were able to bike, other guests rendezvoused arriving in 4 wheel drive vehicles of local 4x4 tour companies. The reception was held in a group campsite in the Sand Flats Recreation Area nearby.

The Bride and Groom arranged transportation to move 50 guests into one of Moab’s National Parks for a stand up wedding. The party then returned to the Bed & Breakfast in which they had booked all the rooms to enjoy a catered reception there, upon the lush lawn.

More than once a divine wedding took place in a Moab restaurant that then supplied the food and beverage and a dance floor and electricity for the dance music.

Rafting as a day excursion for guests makes perfect use of Moab’s river terrain. The Scenic Splash section is appropriate for kindergarten children to grandparents who are willing to get their feet wet. Upwards of 100 guests, the day includes lunch, the trip retails for around $55 per adult. Guests pay for themselves in advance.

Before or after your wedding, a couple should launch at sunrise in a Hot Air Balloon. If you take flight before the wedding and you have had an action packed few days, it may prove a nice respite for just the two of you among all the goodwill of your family and friends who are in attendance. With a launch on the morning after the wedding, when the balloon lands, the two of you may climb into your “Just Married” vehicle to depart from the gang who has been chasing you (they’ll want to snap pictures) for a private hike, just the two of you on a near-by trail or catch the noon departure, the flight, back to Denver and Home to your lives together.

Packages can be designed by a Moab travel company, Moab event planner; some businesses will be at your disposal to help or for those of the DIY caliber, order up services al a carte and consult with Moab’s Facility and Event Promoter. It has been the job of this position to know all things about events in Moab. Consultations are free to connect you to the relevant businesses and services for your wedding or honeymoon.
