What is a good cake to eat in hot weather?
I want to make a birthday cake for my son. However, he is going to be 1, so the cake is more for the adults. The weather is going to be pretty hot on his birthday, and I'm wondering what kind of cake would be most appetising. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks.
I've always loved the taste of a vanilla cake with lemon frosting.
Orange cake is Very Good in warm weather. It tastes so refreshing, and it is also more likely to be a hit with adults and kids combined. Don't use orange frosting with it though, it'll be overkill on flavor!
