please help! how to power a Laser Pointer by a battery? 10 points best answer!?
ok. so i have this laser pointer that has a yellow thing with a spring sticking on a piece of metal tube. it has (5.0) on the yellow thing. how do I power it with a battery? where do I putt the + and - ends? how much voltage do I use to power it? please help!
Actually, most laser pointer pen is powered by a <3v power, mostly 2x1.5v AAA batteries, while most portable high powered lasers are powered by 3.7v 18650 battery, while its minimum input voltage is <3v, so u can even try a 3v CR123A battery.
I got such a laser from a single from http://www.greenlaserpointer.org/focusable-green-lasers/300-350mw-green-laser-jetlasers-series-focusable powered by a 3.7v 18650 battery while I used a single CR-123A battery and a 0-volt dummy 123 cell to create the proper length within the laser to allow for secure fit at a 3 volt operational level. It works well!
