Why can't you use bleach to clean a Stainless Steel Water Bottle?
When I bought my new water bottle, it said not to use chlorine bleach to clean it? Why not? is it bad? Will it stay inside the bottle or something?
Chlorine bleach is very reactive can cause the steel to corrode and develop rust stains. If you want to sterilize it, use boiling water, alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide. Bleach itself is not a cleaning agent, it only works as a disinfectant.
