Can I adapt a Heat Shield on an 18 inch long shotgun barrel?
Ok here is the problem, im thinking that a heat shield would be too long for the 18 linch barrel on my shotgun..Could I shorten the shield and still adapt it?
also, where would be the proper place for installing a Tactical Flashlight on the shotgun

i have a heat shield on my 500, but i have a 20 in, looking @ my gun ( i am right now, ) if it were 2 in shorter, there would still b about 4 in of clearence between the end of the heat shield & the front sight 4 ur light
as long as u dont have a sight bar thingy like this 1, then then u should b fine.
