How do you open a push button dual flush cistern?
I think I have to unscrew the ring on the top but. But when I do that the push buttons turn anti clocwise as well. So I thought I would rather ask before I break something. It is an Ideal Standard cistern.

remove the 2 flanges near the top and bottom of the unit prior to pushing the buttons.
